Author E.L. James doesn't reveal much detail about what's going on with the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" but she did respond to a fans tweet about where the movie would be shot. A fan with the Twitter handle @MattBomer IS GREY asked James whether the movie is going to "be filmed in England or USA?"

She responded and said that "it's very unlikely to be filmed in England." That comment has left many "Fifty Shades" fans wondering if the recent casting call for Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele was legitimate or a fake.

"This sounds like all the fan faves are out and no acting experience required doesn't sound very promising," one user posted on "Fifty Shades of Grey" Sulia page.

"Wow, open to the general public? This is going to be a disaster if they go with someone from an open casting call. Just yesterday I read an article that stated that EL James was looking for an established actor. I don't know what to believe anymore really," another commented.

"This is a not a good look so far!! An [sic] we haven't gotten any where yet!! I just pray they get it together... and fast... time is ticking," someone else posted.

"It really does sound like this casting call is either a hoax or a smokescreen. Why would they say the actors have to eligible to work on the UK if it wasn't going to be filmed there. It  all seems odd," another added.

On the casting call, which was posted to acting-auditions.org, it says that the actor and actress picked would have to be eligible to work in London and the United Kingdom. If James' tweet is confirmation that the film won't be shot overseas then the casting call must have been posted by someone who is not a part of "Team 50."

There still has not been an official word on casting news but Henry Cavill, Matt Bomer, Elixis Bledel, Lucy Hale and Emilia Clarke still remain as top contenders. Even though Ian Somerhalder was reportedly not going to be considered for the role, his fans are still including him in the running to play Christian Grey.

Do you think the casting call was legit or a fake?
