Anyone who enjoyed a halfway decent childhood is beyond excited for J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" to hit theaters later this year. But beyond that, fans of a galaxy far, far away are also interested in the new series of anthology films that Disney and Lucasfilm are planning.

This new series will be composed of interesting one-off stories that audiences want to see (for the most part) while also trading in fan service (Boba Fett and Han Solo coming at you?). The first, "Star Wars: Rogue One," will hit theaters in 2016 and may feature the aformentioned bounty hunter and scruffy looking nerf herder. But what about the other Anthology films?

"The source has also said another interesting bit of information regarding a currently untitled third Star Wars Anthology film that is possibly set for release in 2020," Liam Gaughan of SchmoesKnow.com wrote. "While Rogue One will be a war film and the 2018 film will be a western, the third Anthology film will be much more 'mythological and spiritual' based. While it was once reported that a Mace Windu movie may be in the works, there's been strong speculation that this could be an origin story regarding Yoda. While the backstory of Yoda has been a closely guarded secret for some time it seems, the fact that this would be a possible final Anthology film, is an interesting notion."

But is it really interesting? Fans have long loved the mystery that surrounds Yoda's backstory. It is the unknown that gives him a unique air of wisdom and knowledge. Would discovering how he came to be the Jedi Master we all know and love augment his status among fans or diminish it? Either way, this is still an unconfirmed rumor at this time so nothing is set in stone.
