Another earthquake has struck Tokyo, Japan, but this one was of a higher intensity with a magnitude of 7.8.

The quake was centered off the Osagawara island located along the southern part of Tokyo. It had a depth of 590 and was felt throughout most parts of the country, reports Reuters.

There were no reported incidents of infrastructure damage but the Tokyo Fire Department said they had received calls for help for people who had suffered injuries as the result of falling.

The Meteorological Agency of Japan said the earthquake hit at 8:24 in the evening on Saturday with a depth of 370 miles. The U.S. Geological Survey also said that the quake had a magnitude of 7.8 with a depth of 421 miles, according to another report from NBC News.
