In celebration of "Jaws" 40th anniversary, nearly 500 theaters around the country will show the movie on June 21.

"Jaws is a classic thriller enjoyed by generations and it is ready for a comeback," Fathom Events vice president of programming Kymberli Frueh-Owens told EW. "Movie buffs will love seeing their favorite killer shark larger than life on the big screen. No risk of shark bite!"

The 1975 Steven Spielberg movie, where a huge great white shark takes over the small island community of Amity, will be presented by Fathom Events, Turner Classic Movies, and Universal Pictures.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 29 on FathomEvents.com.
