After receiving a good deal of backlash for the Lolita-esque album cover she originally announced would be the official cover art for her album "Yours Truly," it looks like Ariana Grande and her team have backpedaled and changed up the art once more, only they're claiming the first one posted wasn't the "real" cover.

Grande first posted the "album art" to her Instagram and Twitter yesterday, showing the star dressed in white lingerie, sitting on a bed of flowers and staring sweetly at the camera. She included the release date of Sept. 3 along with the art, but fans and critics quickly took to Twitter to critique the cover which many felt looked like something a pedophile might enjoy. Way harsh!

Harsh as it was, it seemed to get to Grande, as late last night she decided to announce the "real" album cover after confusing fans even more by posting a few more "fake" ones, presumably to make it look like the Lolita-esque cover was just promotional art, which she has since deleted from Instagram.

Soon after, Grande revealed the official (or officially changed, we suspect) album art, tweeting beforehand: "But I see you begging to see the real album artwork & I'm supposed to wait til tomorrow but I can't wait any longer! Will post it in 30 min."

Hmmm...

At around midnight last night, Grande finally revealed the official album art for her debut album "Yours Truly," which will feature her hit single "The Way" featuring Mac Miller and her latest, "Baby I," R&B-infused pop smashes that show off the star's crazy vocals with plenty of Mariah Carey-inspired melisma.
