Pippa Middleton and Prince Harry are favored as candidates for godparents of the newborn Princess of Cambridge, but two of the duke and duchess' oldest friends also have top spots, according to the Mirror.

Being a role model and guardian of a princess would be quite an honor and Ladbrokes told the Mirror that Kate Middleton's sister, Pippa, is favored to be the godmother at 4/1. Fergus Boyd, a schoolmate of the duke's who went to St. Andrew's University with the royal couple, is close behind at 5/1, tying with Hugh Van Cutsem, Prince William's lifelong pal.

Uncle Harry, who missed the birth due to a military assignment in Australia, is at 6/1.

Trailing behind are Kate's school friends, Alicia Fox Pitt and Hannah Carter, at 8/1

Kate's school pals Alicia Fox Pitt and Hannah Carter are both at 8/1 to be godmother. Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice are at 10/1.

Prince George's seven godparents include the duke's cousin Zara Tindall (33/1 odds for being the princess' godmother) and her rugby star husband Mike Tindall (50/1). The tiny future king also has Julia Samuel (a close friend of the late Princess Diana), Olivia Baker (a university chum of the royal couple), Emilia Jardine-Paterson (a collage mate of the duchess'), Earl Gerald Grosvenor (the sixth Duke of Westminster), William Van Cutsem and the duke and duchess' former private secretary, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton.
