Recently known for her big hair, heavy eye-makeup and bedazzled chest-baring ensembles, Christina Aguilera shocked everyone when she hit the red carpet sporting a completely natural look.

Aguilera, who was attending the Television Critics Association Summer Tour in Beverly Hills to promote the upcoming season of "The Voice," stunned in a sweet pink mini-dress, nude heels and minimal makeup.

The singer also showed off her new, slim figure, which she first debuted while performing on "The Voice" finale back in May.

"[She's] making herself a priority, trying new exercises and trying things she loves and enjoys rather than stuff to just 'lose weight'," a source told E! News of the starlet's dramatic transformation. "This is really from the inside out."

Aguilera is set to return to season five of "The Voice," along with original judge Cee-Lo Green, after taking a one-season break.

"I'm the type of person that I cannot live in front of the camera 24 hours a day," she said of her decision to take a brief hiatus from the NBC hit. "I have to take breaks and stay connected with myself. I think it's important so that I can be [my] best on camera and find [my] own happiness with it."

Aguilera also shared that she wanted to spend more time with her five-year-old son, Max.

"I'm a mom and ... the cameras go off, I go home, I put on sweats and a T-shirt. The red lips come off," she said. "I check out and I'm mom...I needed some time to do that. He starts kindergarten this fall, I'm excited about that, but mom's gotta pay the bills and gotta do her thing. I wanted to also, for myself, have a moment... for me. It's really important to take that time in this business, when everything's give, give, give, especially when you're on camera so much, you need to take it back for a second and bring it back to yourself and just realign some things. I've been on a really incredible journey the past six months and I just feel revived."

Aguilera said she's excited to return to her job as a coach on "The Voice," even though she may have a bit of an ego to deal with when it comes to one of her fellow co-stars.

"I understand that I'm coming back to the Blake Shelton show at this point," she joked about the country star, who has been victorious for the past three seasons. "But we laugh all day."

The new season of "The Voice" premieres Sept. 23 on NBC.
