Prince William and Duchess Kate are very different from royal couples of yesteryear. The two are not afraid to hold hands and show their affection for each other and Prince George, unlike the stoic Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II who do not display their emotions in public. The late Princess Diana set a new precedent and 32-year-old William is continuing his mother's lessons.

Princess Diana also made sure her children saw how people outside of the aristocracy lived and William and Kate have made it a priority that their children have as much of a "normal" upbringing as possible.

"The Middletons have had a huge influence on Prince George's upbringing and will have a huge influence on his little brother or sister's upbringing," said ABC News' royal contributor Victoria Murphy.

According to ABC, Prince William admires the Middleton's and has embraced their middle-class values. Along with the royal relatives, the Middletons will have a large role in the new baby's life, just as they have with Prince George.

"Mike and Carole have been really loving and caring and really fun. They have been really welcoming towards me so I've felt really a part of the family." Prince William said while announcing his and Kate's engagement in 2010, according to ABC.

Despite rumors that Price Charles is upset over the "March of the Middletons" (the way he perceives Carole Middleton has taken over) and the "Middletonisation" of his son, William, the royal family seems to have learned their lessons from the days of Diana. They have made sure to welcome Kate Middleton into the royal fold, and that includes her family too.

"William is very close with the Middleton family, He apparently calls Michael Middleton, 'Dad,'" said Murphy.

Is raising Prince George in a more middle class home better for him, or is it a bad move to "Middletonize" the prince who will someday be king? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below!
