Earlier this year, Lena Dunham was confirmed for a guest role on "The Simpsons," but now it has been reported that the rest of her crew from "Girls" will be heading to Springfield, too!

Lena Dunham's besties -Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet and Jemima Kirke - will reportedly provide vocals for some characters in the same episode.

"We're having a Girls reunion, even though Girls is still on the air," said "Simpsons" executive producer Al Jean.

In the premiere episode "Every Man's Dream" - the show is now in its 27th season and is the longest-running animated sitcom that's still on air - Dunham will play a pharmacist named Candace, who will serve as a love interest for Homer, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Prior to Candace's arrival, Marge files for divorce from Homer.

Dunham's posse will voice Candace's friends, similar to their roles in the HBO hit series . . . and in real life, but they aren't too keen on her new fling.

"They're asking her the question that anybody normally would: 'Why Homer?,' fulfilling the role that Patty and Selma have played on the show all these years," Jean said.

"The Simpsons" returns after a five-week hiatus with the first of five new episodes on Sunday at 8 p.m. on Fox.
