Rapper/songwriter Eminem has revealed the new trailer for the boxing drama "Southpaw" from director Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day," "The Equalizer"). Eminem was originally set to star in the film but dropped out. However, he is providing music for the movie.

Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal ("Nightcrawler," "Brokeback Mountain") took over the role of Billy "The Great" Hope, who is the Junior Middleweight Champion and has a wonderful home life with his wife and young daughter. Unfortunately, a tragic accident that leaves his wife (played by Racehl McAdams) dead sends him into a downward spiral of alcohol and drug abuse and ultimately causes Child Services to remove his daughter from his care. To get his family and his life back, Hope will enlist the help of a former boxer named Tick (Forest Whitaker) to train him for the biggest fight of his career and help him face his demons.

"Southpaw" will be released on July 31.
