“Fast and Furious 7” is already set to shoot in Dubai and Tokyo. However, the “Fast and Furious” team recently asked fans where they want to see the seventh installment take place.

On the “Fast and Furious” official Facebook page, there is photo of Vin Diesel—Dominic Toretto in the “Fast and Furious” films—with the phrase “1 Year” in big white letters. Above the photo were the words, “Where do you want to see it go next?”

The post was put up on July 11, exactly one year before the seventh movie is expected to debut. This could have simply been a promotional tactic. On the other hand, it could also provide fans a chance to give imput on a location that will be added to Tokyo and Dubai. Some of the fan suggestions includeChile, Australia and New York.

The Dubai news came by way of a casting call, according to Emirates247.com.

“FF7 Productions in association with One Race Films and Original Film are now in pre-production on the action crime thriller feature film ‘Fast and Furious 7’ and casting calls will be going out in Los Angeles for starring, co-starring, and supporting roles,” read the L.A. announcement. “Shooting will also take place in Tokyo and Dubai.”

The casting call said, “Extras will be cast near the locations where filming will take place.”

“Principal photography commences September 2013.”

“Fast and Furious 7” will center on the story of Ian Shaw (played by Jason Staham) and his revenge against Dominic Toretto. Toretto and his team took down Shaw’s brother Owen (played by Luke Evans) in “Fast and Furious 6.”

“Fast and Furious 7” is expected to hit theaters July 11, 2014.
