Blackberry 10 users have a lot more to grasp as Twitter brings version 10.2 with refreshed user interface, multiple account logins, new features, photo save and enhanced search, collectively.

Twitter app for Blackberry users was not as admired as the Android or the iOS version, but the latest update is about to change that. Blackberry 10 users have a lot more to grasp as Twitter brings version 10.2 with refreshed user interface, multiple account logins, new features, photo save and enhanced search, collectively.

Twitter on Blackberry that received a poor 2-star rating compared to Android's 4-star and iOS' 3.5-star, is now updated with several new features. Describing the latest update, Twitter says in its Blog that the new version focuses mainly on "functionality," which comes in response to user's demands.

The Official Twitter app for Blackberry 10 platform brings "new features and a refreshed design to improve the experience," Donny Halliwell, Social Media Content Manager @BlackBerry, wrote in the Official Blackberry Blog, Tuesday. "For me personally, I love the new photo save option and the ability to add multiple accounts, so I can balance all of my Twitter personas in one convenient place."

With the latest update, Twitter 10.2 on Blackberry 10 devices displays a redesigned user interface with a wide timeline and automatic refreshing of the site so when users log in to their account from their Q10 or Z10 smartphones, it takes them right to the top of the Tweet stream.

In addition, Twitter app now supports multiple account logins eliminating the hassle of switching between accounts for multiple account holders. This feature has been available on other platforms for nearly two years.

The update further includes option to save photos from Twitter directly on Blackberry devices. Users can view, reply, and send direct messages (DMs) from within the app. The search tab has been updated too, where users can view saved and recent searchers. The app provides search suggestions too .

The updated Twitter App integrates a new Discover page that suggests a list of accounts to follow and displays stream of Tweets from friends, people and brands. Finally, the improved refresh will always keep the current location in the timeline.

With the latest updates, Twitter can now be compared to its counterparts on AndroidiOS and Windows Phone.
