Chris Brown could face jail time after a judge revoked his probation, according to CNN.

The probation, which he received in connection with the 2009 assault case involving then-girlfriend Rihanna, was revoked Monday at a hearing for an alleged hit-and-run in which Brown reportedly refused to show his drivers license and insurance information to the other driver.

"We are hopeful that the case will be dismissed next week," Brown's rep said, also insisting that Brown did in fact identify himself at the scene of the accident and provided all of the proper information.

According to the police report, Brown was allegedly driving his Range Rover when he rear-ended a Mercedes. Olga Gure, the driver of the Mercedes, claims Brown lost it at the scene, screaming at her and calling her names.

"Who do you think you are b*tch?" he allegedly yelled. Gure also claimed he tried to grab her camera when she attempted to take a picture of the scene, and eventually slammed his door and drove away.

"I was so shocked that I was speechless," Gure said of the incident.

Brown took to Twitter to express his frustration about the hearing.

"I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run, I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C'mon!!" he wrote. "Love you Team Breezy," he continued in a message to his fans. "I hope people can actually see the truth."

Brown will remain free at least until he returns to court on July 23. Another hearing is also scheduled for mid-August. This isn't the first time Brown has been accused of violating his probation since receiving the sentence in 2009.

In addition to the accident, prosecutors sited a February altercation with Frank Ocean, a fight with Drake at an NYC nightclub and a failure to complete community service as grounds to revoke Brown's probation.
