Sigma Alpha Epsilon's chapter at The University of Oklahoma has been shut down following reaction to a video of young white males engaging in a racist chant and using "the n-word."

Unheard, a black student organization, posted the video to their Twitter account on Sunday night and mentioned @President_Boren - the university's president. Within the hour, David Boren Tweeted a statement expressing his disgust at the actions in the video, according to CNN. Boren said he would close the chapter down if his investigation found that the students shown in the video were students Oklahoma SAE members.

SAE's national headquarters beat Boren to it. "Sigma Alpha Epsilon's national headquarters has closed its Oklahoma Kappa chapter at the University of Oklahoma following the discovery of an inappropriate video," the statement read."We apologize for the unacceptable and racist behavior of the individuals in the video, and we are disgusted that any member would act in such a way."

The video, embedded below, contains disturbing language (NSFW). The students in the clip are heard chanting "There will never be a ni**** in SAE. You can hang him from a tree, but he can never sign with me."

The SAE members who lived in the chaper's house at OU are spending their early morning moving out of the house. Police are present.

Heather Hope is a reporter on KWTV News 9, Oklahoma's CBS affiliate, who also reported that "tear it down" has been spray painted on the SAE chapter's house.

SAE, labeled the "world's deadliest fraternity," has been working to overcome the stain of member deaths credited to hazing of new member-hopefuls, including a 2011 student "who died while being coerced into hypothermia and excessive alcohol consumption," according to CNN.

"As a result, we are paying Lloyd's of London the highest insurance rates in the Greek-letter world," Cohen said, according to CNN.

Opening new chapters at other universities has been a no-go and 12 chapters in 18 months were closed due to hazing, according to CNN.

OU students plan to hold a peaceful protest against racism on Monday. Unheard requests that those attending wear all black clothing.
