Madonna may appear to be one of a kind, but when she looks into he eyes of rapper Kanye West she sees herself. 

"Kanye is the new Madonna," Madonna, herself, told Daily News. "Kanye is the black Madonna." 

The entertainer's connection apparently goes further than their collaboration on three songs in Madonna's new album "Rebel Heart," which was released Tuesday. 

Madonna said she and West both are the type of celebs that people love to hate. They also both love to "push people's buttons," reported Daily News. 

"We know, and recognize, that we have that in common," Madonna told Daily News. "We're comrades in the envelope-pushing genre." 

Madonna has also publicly referred to West as "a beautiful mess" and a "brilliant madman," according to Independent. 

Although Madonna clearly bonded with West during their collaboration, he's reportedly not the only rapper shes hitting the studio with. 

Madonna has recently worked with Nas and Chance The Rapper, according to MTV.
