Despite spending years struggling with fertility issues, Giuliana Rancic still hasn't given up the dream of expanding her family - but now the E! News correspondent is opening up about the slim chances she has at making that dream happen.

The 40-year-old "Fashion Police" co-host revealed to Life & Style Magazine that she has only one frozen embryo left, giving her and husband Bill Rancic one chance to give their two-year-old son Edward Duke a biological sibling.

"This could be our last shot," she said. "We're keeping our fingers crossed that everything works out."

However, the couple remains optimistic about her chances.

"If I don't ever have another kid, I have to remind myself that I'm very fortunate to have what I have," Giuliana told the magazine.

Giuliana struggled through three rounds of IVF treatments. However, during fertility treatment, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, which forced her to put their family plans on hold while Giuliana underwent a double mastectomy. In August 2012, Giuliana and Bill welcomed a baby boy named Edward Duke, via a surrogate. Last year, the reality star revealed that the surrogate was pregnant with the couple's second child, but unfortunately suffered a miscarriage while nine weeks pregnant.

"Thankfully we've had some time to process the news," she told Extra's Mario Lopez in an interview last year. "It was hard. I mean, when you get that call that you've had a miscarriage...we were just devastated. Our priority at the time, once we were able to take the emotion out of it a little bit [was] to make sure our surrogate who carried Duke for us ... know it was not her fault."
