First the beard and ponytail, now the hair color. Jared Leto seems to be undergoing a self-makover of late.

The actor showed up at Paris Fashion Week on Thursday clean-shaven and sporting a platinum blond, short hair cut.

Leto is no stranger to transformations. He won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2014 for his role as a transgendered female AIDS patient in "Dallas Buyers Club."

Most recently, Leto's acting efforts have been focused on the role of The Joker in the 2016 film "Suicide Squad." One clever Instagram user thinks Leto's new look is in preparation for his role as the villain, and it's hard to argue against. Changing his hair color to The Joker's signature green is easier now that his hair is already dyed.
