Allison William will take flight as Peter Pan and face off against Christopher Walken's Captain Hook in next month's "Peter Pan Live." NBC has released its first preview of the live musical production also starring Christian Borle, Minnie Driver and Kelli O'Hara.

The clip gives viewers a first look at Peter Pan's interactions with the Darling children Wendy, John and Michael. Williams also puts her singing skills on display in the song "I Won't Grow Up."

"Allison is primed to lead this company," director Rob Ashford said about his leading lady in a previous behind-the-scenes video.

Walken possesses an impressive set of dance skills, but the preview only shows his Captain Hook sitting or standing before his swash-buckling crew. The Oscar-winning actor makes no attempt to change his already gravelly tone, sticking with his trademark clipped delivery.

"The Christopher Walken way of playing Hook is the Christopher Walken way of playing Hook," executive producer Neil Meron said.

Newcomer Taylor Louderman will play the younger version of Wendy. Jake Lucas and John Allyn will play her brothers John and Michael, respectively. They will be joined by Broadway vets Borle, playing Mr. Smee and George Darling, and O'Hara as Mrs. Darling. Driver will serve as the play's narrator and appear on screen as Adult Wendy.

"Peter Pan Live!" will premiere on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m.

NBC will also air "The Making of Peter Pan Live!" on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. The hour-long special will take viewers behind-the-scenes as the cast and crew go through dress rehearsals, Williams learns to fly, and she and Walken choreograph their big sword fight.
