Craig Ferguson has chosen former "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno as his final guest on "The Late Late Show." The late-night host will take his leave on Friday, Dec. 19.

CBS revealed the guest-list for the final three weeks of shows as Ferguson wraps up his nine-year hosting gig. The Scot invited many of his most popular guests back including Tim Meadows, who has appeared a record 41 times, Thomas Lennon (30 appearances), Betty White (23) and Henry Winkler (22).

His other guests include new mom Mila Kunis, Rashida Jones, Ariel Tweto, Kristen Bell, Steve Carell, Don Cheadle, Carrie Fisher, Jon Hamm, Lisa Kudrow, Jim Pasons, Michael Sheen and more. They will all appear on the show between Dec. 1 and Dec. 18.

Metallica will also perform a week-long residency on the show from Nov. 17 to Nov. 21

Ferguson announced his exit in April and said he wanted to leave the show before he stopped enjoying it. He made his decision before he knew David Letterman also planned to retire from "The Late Show."

"It wasn't contentious. I was just like, 'I feel like I'm done,' " he told Variety in April. "We were all fine and were tying up loose ends. And then Dave surprised everybody with the (April 3) announcement and that threw a spanner in the works. And I had to sit and keep my mouth shut while speculation raged wildly."

Speculation ended once CBS announced Stephen Colbert as Letterman's successor. British comedian James Corden will take over for Ferguson and will premiere his show on Monday, March 9.
