An alleged "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" set extra is dishing details about a major death scene recently filmed in Detroit involving a surprising character.

Fan site Superman Homepage claims an extra agreed to speak anonymously about two scenes he participated in while on the Detroit set. He told the fan site he was on location at the Wayne family mausoleum.

"The first scene we filmed was with Jeremy Irons", the source said. "It was out in a field with young Bruce Wayne. A flashback to the Wayne funeral. The small set was really cool with the hearse vehicles sporting Gotham license plates...

"The second scene I was involved in was situated in a half-stadium style set surrounded by tall green screen walls. Henry Cavill was on set dressed as Clark Kent, but did not film with us that day...This scene was a parade scene to take place in 'Washington D.C.', obviously the CG effects for the surroundings would be placed in post production."

And who was the funeral for? None other than the President of the United States. The extra claimed he wasn't able to snap photos of the set because cell phones were checked by the production.

The "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" production hasn't commented on the rumors, but cast member Holly Hunter recently teased fans about her time on set.

The actress spoke to The Wall Street Journal about the production and what it was like working with director Zack Snyder.

"It was really fun to be part of a giant, massive piece of machinery, headed up by Zack Snyder, who is thoroughly at home in that uber mega environment. Most people would have a nervous breakdown with that kind of pressure, and he's enthralled," Hunter said.

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016.
