Michael Fassbender is reportedly up for the role of Steve Jobs in director Danny Boyle's biopic.  The news comes shortly after reports claiming Christian Bale and Leonardo DiCaprio have dropped out of negotiations.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the production is currently in negotiations with the “X-Men” actor to play Steve Jobs. The news comes shortly after Bale withdrew from the film on Nov. 3 because he reportedly felt he wasn’t the right person for the role.

Seth Rogen is on the production’s list to play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in the Sony biopic.

“Negotiations have not yet begun, and it’s not even clear if Rogen has an official offer, but the producers — Scott Rudin, Guymon Casady and Mark Gordon — have set their sights on the talent and are in talks,” THR reports.

Writer Aaron Sorkin penned the script for the Jobs biopic. Sorkin has kept quiet about the details regarding the film, but has reportedly split the movie into three acts.

The film will follow how he co-founded the company, how Jobs lost it and end with how he came back to apple. Sorkin spoke about the biopic to the Daily Beast the direction of the film.

"I don't know if you remember the ad campaign [Jobs] did," he said.  "It was the 'Think Different' campaign. 'Here's to the crazy ones.' That's how it began. If I can end the movie with that text and that voiceover ... If I can earn that ending, then I will have written the movie that I wanted to write."
