It seems like the whole world is upset with Mama June for rekindling a relationship with convicted sex offender, Mark McDaniel. TMZ broke the news a few weeks ago that Mama June was dating 53-year-old McDaniel, who was just released from prison after serving 10 years for child molestation.

It was later revealed that McDaniel's victim was allegedly Mama June's daughter Anna Cardwell, now 20. Shortly after the news broke TLC cancelled "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and said that it wouldn't be airing the already-filmed new season.

Now, TMZ reports that Honey Boo Boo's Uncle Poodle is going after Mama June for temporary custody of the young reality star. Sources told the site that Uncle Poodle and his fiancé, Alan, have already found a bigger apartment and are prepared to go court if Mama June doesn't end her romance with McDaniel.

According to TMZ, the couple has been doing in-depth research just in case. Reportedly, Uncle Poodle and his fiancé don't want full custody of 9-year-old Honey Boo Boo because they believe her father, Sugar Bear, will be able to start taking care of her again once he's back on his feet financially.

TMZ also reported that Uncle Poodle did not ask for custody of 14-year-old Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon because she doesn't like him. There was no word of whether the couple was seeking custody of Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, 17.

Last week, People magazine reported that child protective services of Georgia were looking into to the case to make sure that Mama June's kids were safe.

"Generally speaking, when we receive a report that children are living around a sex offender... it would certainly rise to the level of concern of us looking into it," said Susan Boatwright of Georgia's Division of Family and Child Services.

"From our point of view, when there are young children who are not able to protect themselves that are in daily contact or living with a sex offender, someone would go out and assess the situation and decide whether the children can stay there or not," Boatwright added. "If we thought a child was in harm's way in any way, shape or form, we would develop a safety plan and make sure the children are not around an offender."
