There's a pretty exciting rumor making its way around the internet about another character from Season 1 of "The Walking Dead" popping back up during the current Season 5. Per Spoilers Guide, Juan G. Pareja (Morales) tweeted over the weekend that he was headed to Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta to meet up with the other cast members.

At the end of his tweet Pareja wrote "#MoralesLIVES," sparking widespread rumor that his character could reappear at some point this season.

"Excited to see the #WalkingDead family again & all the fans @WalkerStalkerCon this weekend! #MoralesLIVES," he posted.

Morales and his family were among the group of survivors that Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) stumbled across after he left the hospital. Morales' whereabouts have remained unknown since him and his family decided not to follow everyone else to the CDC.

As we stated earlier, this is simply a rumor and has not been confirmed by AMC. If Morales is back for Season 5, he'll be joining another returning character: Morgan (Lennie James). Morgan was also a character from the first season and reappeared at the end of the Season 5 premiere.

"There's a reason we put it in there. I can't say more than that," executive producer Gale Anne Hurd told Zap2It about Morgan's reappearance.

"We had actually tried to get Lennie back for Season 4 but he was unavailable, so the fact that we get to see Morgan with just enough of a tease to go, 'Oh, wait a minute. He's tracking them.' You see the little circle carved into the tree. And of course the vines growing up on the sign, so clearly time has passed," director Greg Nicotero added to Entertainment Weekly. "He's not hot on their trail, but it gives us that opportunity to go 'Wait, a second, what's going on?' it's a great tease. I wish we had a little more time to let that scene play out a little bit more, but we had a great opportunity in this episode to introduce some great characters."
