"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." has introduced a host of new characters, good and bad, over the first four episodes of this season. Bobbi Morse, a.k.a. Mockingbird, played by Adrianne Palicki, appears to be a member of Hydra, and her presence will throw some members of Coulson's team for a real loop.

Morse will spearhead Hydra's investigation into a possible mole sending messages to S.H.I.E.L.D. and Jemma Simmons' undercover mission could fall into jeopardy if she becomes suspect No. 1.

Headlines & Global News spoke with the show's cast members at The Paley Center of Media's annual PaleyFest NY on Oct. 19 and they shared a few nuggets of information about the episode entitled "A Hen in the Wolfhouse."

Bobbi Morse a.k.a. Mockingbird - Friend or Foe?

The cast had a blast filming with their new co-star Adrianne Palicki, but on screen her character may be "hailing the wrong people," according to Clark Gregg.

"As far as I know, in the clips I've seen, she looks like she may be on the wrong side. Things may be turning around for S.H.I.E.L.D., but everything I've seen of Bobbi Morse, she seems like a bad girl," said Gregg, who plays Director Phil Coulson.

Good or bad, Ming-Na Wen enjoyed welcoming another strong female character to the show.

"She has an incredible positive energy and she is a very secure woman and I love that," said Wen, who plays Melinda May. "I love women who are there to work and have a good time. I'm having a great time getting to know her."

Raina Plays the Lesser of Three Evils

Raina finds herself stuck between a rock (Daniel Whitehall) and a hard place (Skye's father) this week, and asks for a meeting with Coulson to discuss retrieving the obelisk. Understandably, Coulson isn't too keen on helping her this time, given she locked him in "her little memory box" the last time they met.

The scene from last season, which gave Coulson back his true memories of what happened after Loki shot him on the helicarrier in "The Avengers," still haunts Gregg today.

"I found [that scene] just devastating. That underneath all that wanting to know and riding that line, the level of kind of betrayal when you realize that you're not just a secret keeper but you're someone whose secrets have been kept from that really messed me up," Gregg said.

Raina comes prepared with a blackmail scheme that could jeopardize Simmons' undercover operation at Hydra headquarters. Will Coulson play ball when the life of one of his team members hangs in the balance?

"Ruth Negga is so brilliant as Raina. I love every time she shows up," Gregg said about Negga's return as the "Girl in the Flower Dress." "She's got a really interesting role in all of this and it's really still not clear what motivates her or what she's really working for, but it doesn't seem to be Hydra. I could be wrong."

Chloe Wants To Meet Daddy Dearest

Skye hasn't given up all hope about finding her parents. Her simmering interest will spike when she hears Raina ask Coulson to take Skye to meet her father.

The lengths Skye will go to find her father could further expand the rift between her and Coulson. The two already stand on shaky ground since Coulson won't share his secret alien writings with Skye.

"You'll see a little bit of that tension that she feels for being kept in the dark a little bit about the writing and why he's not telling me this, so there's definitely a little pent-up frustration and I think you'll see a lot of that being resolved," Chloe Bennet said.

Lance Hunter's 'Demonic Hell Beast' Ex-Wife Returns

Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) couldn't help but bring up his ex-wife in last week's episode, much to the dismay of Mac (Henry Simmons). The woman Hunter described as a "demonic hell beast" will make a surprising return to his world, and may have played a role in landing him a spot on Coulson's team.
