Last year, Fox dropped "American Dad" after ten successful seasons, but fans weren't moping for too long because TBS has since picked it up, and will run season 11 in just a few days. Fox aired three final episodes in September, and TBS will resume where those left off.

In more recent years, adult animated sitcoms have invaded the most popular networks, and have established themselves as worthy of air time. "American Dad" falls into that category and has a family-themed plot that relies on the quirkiness of its characters to provide humor.

From Seth MacFarlane, the renowned creator of "Family Guy," "American Dad" features the Smith family: Stan, Francine, Steve, Haley, a talking Goldfish named Klaus and a fan-favorite alien named Roger.

TBS' synopsis: "Everyday life is taken to the limit as Stan applies the same drastic measures used in his job at the CIA to his home life. Driven by machismo and the American dream, he often is blind to how horribly he fails at his attempts. This father might not know best, but he never stops trying."

"American Dad" will air on Monday, October 20, at 9/8c on TBS.

"The 100," a post-apocalyptic drama based on a novel, is set in the future, after nuclear war destruction obliterates nearly all life on Earth, or so the characters believe.

Humans in space stations gathered together to form one station, known as "The Ark," in attempt to keep the remaining 2,000 or so humans alive. "The Ark" is barely a safe haven due to depleted resources and overpopulation. Adults are executed to control population, and 100 teens are sent out of space to determine whether Earth is once again inhabitable, according to Hypable.

In season two, "The Ark" is no longer in existence, and space elements of the show will not continue.

Characters are searching for one another, because no one knows who is alive or not, after some may have been taken to Mount Weather, an underground world that will be revealed to viewers as the show progresses.

Will one of the main characters be killed unexpectedly?

"No one is safe, and if the story is right and it has the impact that I think it should, we'll do that for sure. I'll say it again, nobody is safe," Executive Producer Jason Rothenberg told Zap 2 It.

Season two of "The 100" premieres Wednesday, October 22, at 9 p.m. on The CW.

Based on the comic series "Hellblazer," "Constantine" will feature Matt Ryan as John Constantine, a "seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult," according to NBC.

The series follows the recent premieres of "Gotham" and "The Flash," both of which are based on comics, but "Constantine" will provide a spookier vibe than the other two.

In the beginning of the season, Constantine commits himself to an insane asylum, hoping to rid himself of all evil thoughts.

NBC's synopsis: "With his soul already damned to hell, he's decided to abandon his campaign against evil until a series of events thrusts him back into the fray, and he'll do whatever it takes to protect the innocent. With the balance of good and evil on the line‎, Constantine will use his skills to travel the country, find the supernatural terrors that threaten our world and send them back where they belong. After that, who knows... maybe there's hope for him and his soul after all."

Be alert for a lot of plot twists that will leave you guessing and teetering on the line of entering into the dark world with Constantine.

The series premieres on Friday, October 24, at 10 p.m. on NBC.
