Jennifer Garner admits Ben Affleck’s crazy “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” diet caused her to gain weight.

Garner visited On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday to promote her upcoming movies “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” and “Men, Women and Children.”

Seacrest asked Garner about her husband’s physical preparations for the film. The actress claimed watching him eat so healthy made her want to eat some of her favorite treats.

“He worked out twice a day and ate only what was put in front of him by some very mean, mean person,” the actress jokingly told Seacreast. “Everything was cut out, If I made dinner and it was a healthy dinner, he wouldn’t even look at it because something hadn’t been steamed…

“Whenever one of us has to be really good, the other one pudges up. I don’t know why it is. But I blame my pudginess on his strict disciplined place in life. There’s something about it that just makes me like, ‘Well, I’m going to have a Bon Bon. I’m going to have ice cream.'”

Affleck may have been on a strict diet for the film, but looking forward to see fans reactions about “Batman vs. Superman.” Affleck spoke to the Boston Globe while promoting “Gone Girl” back in September and shared his thoughts about the hype.

“I can tell you that I’m very excited and it’s very exciting,” Affleck, who plays Bruce Wayne in the film, told the Globe. “I can tell you that in my entire career, I haven’t had so many people come up to me and say how much they’re looking forward to the movie.”

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is scheduled to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
