Only one more day until your Wednesday nights are filled with spooky carnival characters and terrifying killer clowns. Season 4 of Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story," subtitled "Freak Show," kicks off Oct. 8 with a 90-minute premiere.

In anticipation of the series' return to TV, FX has been releasing a number of teasers and behind-the-scenes videos. On Monday night the network premiered another glimpse at the premiere episode, titled "Monsters Among Us." The 12-second clip features Dot and Bette (Sarah Paulson) meeting Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) for the first time. Check out the teaser below.

According to an official description of the episode, "One of the only surviving sideshows in the country struggles to stay in business during the dawning era of television. When police make a terrifying discovery at a local farmhouse, the eccentric purveyor of the freak show sees an opportunity that will lead her troupe to their salvation or ruin."

FX also released a couple of videos featuring the real-life stories of some of its minor actors including Rose Siggins as Legless Suzy, Mat Fraser as Paul the Illustrated Seal, and Erika Ervin as Amazon Eve. In each video the actors talk about their own disabilities and why they chose to join Murphy's "Freak Show."

"The part was originally slated for a man," Ervin said, who is the tallest model in the world and also a transgender. "I auditioned for the part as a guy, slicked back my hair, no makeup, flannel shirt, bound my breasts, dropped my voice and walked in and nailed it."

"The story itself is taking me on my own personal journey and seeing where I personally fit in this paradigm called 'freak show,'" she added. "[The show] is a narrative of extraordinary bodies, differences. Celebrating our differences. It's a place for people who are different to come together and find a sense of community. It's more than just a freak show, there's a family here."
