There's only one week left until the Season 4 premiere of "American Horror Story: Freak Show" and FX just released a new 60-second preview, courtesy of BuzzFeed. In the clip, fans meet Dot and Bette (Sarah Paulson) and really get a glimpse at their different personalities; lobster boy Jimmy Darling (Evan Peters) gets really mad when someone calls him and his circus friends "freaks;" you see Ethel Darling (Kathy Bates) and her manly beard; and ringleader Ela Mars (Jessica Lange).

Last, but not least, is another terrifying glimpse at Twisty the Clown (John Carroll Lynch), and from the looks of it someone might be about to die.

We're already shuddering thinking about how scary this season will be. Show creator Ryan Murphy recently dished on Twisty to Entertainment Weekly and said the character doesn't like it when the circus freaks show up to town.

"[Twisty] is a murderous clown and he's furious that the freaks have shown up in a town where he, the most evil clown of all time, has retired and he's out to make their lives a living hell," he said.

Murphy also told BuzzFeed that he was worried Twisty might be too scary for some fans.

"We said in the writer's room that if we were going to do clowns, we were going to create the most terrifying clown of all time," Murphy told BuzzFeed News. "That was our goal when we were writing him, but I'm worried about people being too afraid of our clown. It's heart-stopping what he does. I'm worried. I'm worried that people are going to have cardiac arrests... The clown's intro in the first episode is... even I was terrified of it. It's brutal. Two crew members told me they had nightmares about this clown since we started shooting and they're not even scared of clowns. I think he's pretty extraordinary because, when you see why he's a clown and why he's wearing the mask... just you wait."

Season 4 of "American Horror Story" debuts Oct. 8 on FX with a 90-minute premiere.
