Taylor Swift is now on "The Voice."

The country-pop star joined the reality singing competition cast on Friday (Oct. 3). She will mentor across all four of teams, assisting veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, as well as newcomers Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams.

"Seven-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift is going to act as the sole mentor for all of our teams during the knock-out round," Carson Daly, the show's producer/host says, reports Taste of Country.

The superstar is a welcome addition to the show. She'll follow in the footsteps of Chris Martin of Coldplay, who was in the role last year. Swift will be able to help the team members with their singing and performing, and there's no doubt they'll learn a thing or two as they compete.

The "Shake It Off" singer will be the universal advisor for the current season of "The Voice," NBC confirmed Friday a little over a month after reports of her involvement surfaced.

The 24-year-old pop star will appear as the "key advisor" during the Knockout Round which pits singers from the same team against each other. She'll mentor the artists on vocal technique, stage presence and the importance of tailoring songs to fit their personalities and strengths, according to the New York Daily News.

These artists will continue to try and earn the support of their respective coaches, who will be forced to decide who will move on to the live Playoff Round, reports USA Today. Each coach will have the opportunity to strategically steal one more artist in the Knockout Round.

Swift makes her first appearance on Oct. 27, the same day her new album, "1989" drops and will appear again on Oct. 28 and Nov. 3 to close out the Knockout Rounds.

"We're happy to have her," Daly adds. In addition to Swift, each team will have their own personal advisor. Levine's team will have Stevie Wonder, Stefani got her husband Gavin Rossdale, Shelton will work with Little Big Town and Williams has Alicia Keys on hand to assist.

"The Voice" airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
