After today, Blake Shelton will be able to drive on Blake Shelton.

Yep, that's right. Shelton's hometown of Ada, Okla., is re-naming one of its streets after the town's most famous local. So the country superstar and mega-popular coach on "The Voice" will be able to cruse down Blake Shelton Boulevard.

Hannahlee Allers at The Boot reports that the town is hosting a block party today (Sept. 30) to celebrate the release of Shelton's upcoming album,"Bringing Back the Sunshine," which features Ada's water tower on the cover. The album also debuts today. As part of the celebration, the town will host a Blake Shelton lookalike contest and unveil the Blake Shelton Boulevard signs

"I think this is a wonderful event," Ada Mayor Bryan Morris declares. "It's our inaugural event for the Ada Arts District. Everyone's welcome, there's a little bit for everyone to do so let's come out and celebrate Ada's favorite son: Blake Shelton."

Shelton won't be able to attend the event in person, but his mom, Dorothy Shackelford, says he is touched that the town is holding the event.

"Blake thanks you, and I thank you, and I know we're gonna have a good time," she says. "He's very excited about this festival and that y'all are doing this and recognizing him."
