“X-Men: Days of Future Past” has released a deleted scene featuring Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast) and James McAvoy (Professor X).

The scene comes after the Mystique was shot by Magneto (Michael Fassbender) when she attempted to stop him from exposing mutants. Mystique visited Professor X after the shooting to discuss what happened. Check out the deleted scene on iTunes here.

“X-Men: Days of Future Past” will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Oct. 14, but is available on Digital HD now. Fans will have to wait until 2015 to see the extended cut of “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

Variety reports writer Simon Kinberg confirmed the infamous Rogue scene will be featured on the extended cut. The scene featuring actress Anna Paquin was removed due to time constraints and continuity issues.

“It’s the most complicated movie I’ve ever worked on,” Kinberg said. “I pray to God I never work on another time travel movie.”

Kinberg claimed the scene was important to the film, and he pushed to keep it in. However, the “Rogue Cut” would’ve slowed down the pacing considering what the rapid-fire events of “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

“It’s a big chunk, a substantial part of the movie,” Kinberg told Variety. “We want to give (fans) the fullest picture of the film - behind the camera, and in front of it, [with the] ‘Rogue Cut’ [and provide] more of the process we went through’ to make the film.”

Kinberg added, “Every movie has scenes that are cut out, but not every movie has scenes cut out with such a beloved character.”
