The latest trailer for Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis' "Jupiter Ascending" teases a little more details regarding the sci-fi flick.

For those unfamiliar with "Jupiter Ascending," the film follows the story of Jupiter Jones (Kuni), a young woman born on Earth who contains a very important genetic legacy, according IMDB.

Jupiter’s existence threatens heirs to the universe, The House of Abrasax siblings Balem, Kalique and Titus. Jupiter must now confront her destiny and leave behind everything she’s ever known to unlock her power.

Kunis spoke about taking on the role of Jupiter in the June issue of GQ magazine. The actress explained there was a lot of physicality involved from all of the stunt work.

"It was one of the hardest things I've ever done and I know some of the hardest things that I think he's probably ever done," Kunis told GQ. "Just the pure exhaustion on the physical level. I think you know knowing that we were both in the same boat together makes it easy for us, but you never really know how it's gonna be five months in, and it was such a great relief to have somebody who had the same outlook."

The film was originally slated to hit theaters back in July, but the production needed more time work on special affects, according to Variety. Warner Bros. Domestic Distribution Chief Dan Fellman released a statement regarding the delay.

"With the July release date, they were just not going to make it on time," Fellman told Variety. "A lot of the issue for us was getting it ready for the international release, since the foreign territories need additional time."
