Lena Headey has stepped into her Cersei Lannister wardrobe on the “Game of Thrones” set this week.

Headey is currently filming in Dubrovnik, Croatia, the backdrop for King’s Landing. The actress along with Dean-Charles Chapman (Tommen), and Finn Jones (Loras Tyrell), were caught on camera.

TMZ reported early in September locals didn’t want Cersei’s “penance” walk film at Church of St. Nicholas.

“We're told the local film commission will not give producers a permit to shoot the scene because they take their cue from the church - in this case the Church of St. Nicholas,” TMZ reported. “Sources [say] they can't cut the scene because it's crucial to the story line and it's an iconic moment from the book.”

However, HBO showrunners were able to strike a deal with the locals to keep the scene out of the church, but allow the production to film on the streets of Croatia.

“We're told the film commissioners changed their initial ruling upon realizing how much pleasantry "Game of Thrones" doth bring the townspeople. It also brings in a lot of copper pennies,” according to TMZ.

The scene marks a turning point in the “A Song of Fire and Ice” saga as it’s the first time Cersei has to admit to some of the terrible things she’s done. It’s unclear if Headey will have body double for the scene or will do the “penance” walk herself.
