Fans of "The Walking Dead" might want to grab some Kleenex and say their goodbyes to Glenn Rhee, because things are not looking too good for the fan-favorite character. AMC released a bunch of Season 5 photos (you can check them out here), and in one picture Glenn (Steven Yeun) is surrounded by walkers.

It looks like he's still at Terminus and Glenn does have a gun with him, but we're not sure one weapon can hold off that horde of zombies. The photo doesn't reveal if someone else is there with Glenn. Maybe Maggie (Lauren Cohen) comes to his rescue?

This is not the first time the show has hinted at Glenn being in a near-death situation. In the trailer released during Comic-Con, he was bound and gagged with what appeared to be a crazy-looking man swinging a barbed wire bat at his head.

If you read the comic books then you already know Glenn's fate: he's brutally murdered with a barbed wire baseball bat at the hands of Negan. It's long been rumored that Glenn could die this season. Back in May, The Spoiling Dead posted some information on their Facebook page claiming that Glenn's death scene was already filmed.

"RUMOR, we have heard from multiple sources about a possible death. Word is the death of Glenn was filmed yesterday/last night. It's possible it could be someone else, but multiple sources stated Glenn."

"Reports are the set was locked down last night and everyone was told to leave because the cast would not be coming out," the group continued. "Alanna [Masterson] tweeted yesterday during filming 'when someone great is gone.' As we stated this is currently a rumor and we are tracking this and trying to get more information."

Adding fuel to the fire, Yahoo previously asked Greg Nicotero about the Glenn-Negan tease in the trailer and he said he was glad fans caught it.

"I can say I'm glad you caught that. And that your intuition... I can't say. I can't say. I can say that it's in the trailer for a reason," he said.

When Scott Gimple was asked if there really was barbed wire around the bat, he told The Hollywood Reporter that fans should go back and re-watch the trailer.

"We can see anything this season. Anything is possible - and good eye," creator Robert Kirkman added.

What do you think of these endless Glenn Rhee dying rumors?
