Samsung has partnered with renowned crystal and fashion jewelry brand Swarovski to bring the designer version of Gear S smartwatch.

Samsung, the world leader in smartphone business, has extended its partnership with a leading crystal and fashion jewelry brand, Swarovski, to bring a unique representation of Gear S smartwatch. To all the fashion aspirants out there, the latest Samsung wearable smartwatch has got a designer strap beautifully decorated by Swarovski cut crystals that blends a perfect balance between technology and fashion.

The Korean tech giant introduced the all-new Gear S smartwatch based on its home-grown Tizen OS. The smartwatch sports a unique curved design along with on-board 3G connectivity. Samsung partnered with tech giants like Nokia and renowned sports brand Nike in packing the Gear S with latest technology.

Now, the company wishes to further publicize its Gear S smartwatch by decorating it using Swarovski crystals. According to the company's press release, Tuesday, Swarovski used its latest product, the Crystal Fine Mesh,  and embedded directly into the Gear S strap.

"One of the key aspects in wearable devices is providing diverse options for consumers to freely express their own taste and style," Younghee Lee, Samsung's Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, said in a statement. "Our ongoing collaboration with Swarovski as demonstrated in the new Gear S Strap, allows us to stay ahead of trends and on the cutting-edge of design and style."

This isn't the first time Samsung has partnered with the fashion jewelry titan. Last November, the Korean tech company launched Galaxy S3 Mini Crystal Edition embodied with 166 dazzling Swarovski crystals across the back panel, and crystal-encrusted cases for the Galaxy Note 3 earlier this year.

In the company's press release, Samsung added that its partnership with Swarovski will extend to other devices, namely the back covers for the next flagship device. With several reports hinting at the launch of Galaxy Note 4, it is safe to assume the high-end phablet will get fashionable back covers at the IFA 2014 launch in Berlin.

Samsung did not reveal the pricing of the Swarovski Gear S Strap but it is expected to be more expensive than the original price tag when it hits stores next month.
