“The Hunger Games” franchise star Jena Malone was spotted with “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” director Zack Snyder on their Detroit, Mich. set.

Fans were able to catch photographs of the Malone and Snyder while in Detroit and shared the images on their Twitter account. However, it is unclear is Malone, who plays Johanna Mason in “The Hunger Games,” has a role in the upcoming film, but the duo have worked together on Snyder’s film “Sucker Punch.”

Snyder hasn’t commented about Malone’s set visit, but the director did call into Detroit's 97.1 radio station after hearing show hosts Stoney and Bill insulting Aquaman.

“Game of Thrones” actor Jason Momoa is allegedly taking on the role of Aquaman, but Snyder didn’t call in to confirm the character’s appearance in the film. Snyder was angered by assumptions Aquaman would be anything other than a “badass” superhero.

"I don't want to give anything away about the movie, but Aquaman has some cool abilities," Snyder told the radio hosts. "People are like: ‘Oh, what? Does he talk to animals? Cause that seems like what he does. Or fish?' The cool thing with Aquaman is he's Triton, so you have to realize that [he] could cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact."

"It's not to say that he's in the movie or anything like that," Snyder added later on during the call. "But he has the potential to be badass."

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is scheduled to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
