A strange portrait allegedly spotted on the “Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice” set has sparked rumors of a possible Thomas Wayne casting.

An image floating around on Twitter shows a man who looks like actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan with a mustache, possibly portraying Bruce Wayne’s father, Thomas Wayne.

The portrait could be something found on in Ben Affleck’s new Batcave. Badass Digest reports the Batcave is set up like a memorial to everything Wayne has accomplished during his time as Batman.

“My sources indicate that when BvS opens Batman has existed for close to thirty years, which would place Wayne in his 50s (which is why I expected more grey in Affleck's hair),” Badass Digest reports. “In this version Batman is still an urban legend, a creature of the night, and no one has ever taken his picture. But he's had plenty of adventures, and the Batcave includes a memorial centered around a tattered Robin costume.”

Fans will have to wait and see if the mysterious portrait will make it into the DC film. However, the wait will be a few months shorter as Warner Bros. confirmed “Batman vs. Superman” will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016. The studio also confirmed their film lineup through 2020, according to The Wrap:
