The latest issue of Empire magazine has confirmed Jason Momoa will star “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Comic Book shared an image of Empire’s feature on “Batman vs. Superman” in their September issue. The magazine claims Momoa’s casting was confirmed, but Warner Bros. has yet to comment on the Aquaman rumors. Click here to view the spread.

Empire’s spread comes after Momoa and Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot reignited the Aquaman rumors. Momoa and Gadot shared images on Instagram of themselves rock-climbing on the same day. Check out the images here.

In other “Batman vs. Superman” news, more set images of Bruce Wayne have surfaced online. YouTube user Samuel Otten claims production filmed as scene with Bruce Wayne saving a little girl from a collapsing building. However, it is difficult to tell from the video if Ben Affleck was one of the stand-ins on set.

“Several Bruce Wayne stand-in's and stunt doubles were on set today,” Otten wrote in the video’s description. “You can see them blocking out a scene involving the rescue of a small girl and the collapsing of a large piece of the Wayne Financial building.

“Based on city buses and police cars, this is presumed to be in Metropolis, not Gotham. I don't know that any of these are Ben Affleck himself, but you can be the judge. Probably him in the first sequence, but definitely not the later ones. At the very least, it's Bruce Wayne.”
