“Assassin’s Creed: Unity” will feature bigger, more responsive crowds than previously seen other AC titles.

A new feature in the September issue of Game Informer (via Gamespot) claims crowds can have up to 30,000 people gathered. The people will interact with each other: they’ll argue, hold hands or break out into brawls. It’s a huge step from the angered NPC response when you accidentally run into them. Ubisoft’s “Assassin’s Creed” Writer Travis Stout recently revealed details regarding Arno’s storyline in an AC DevBlog. Arno is an educated man with a long line of Assassin’s in his family. However, something happened in Arno’s past and he will feel the need to correct his errors throughout the story.

"He is a very driven young man. He is haunted by mistakes in his past or perceived mistakes, that he feels he must atone for," Stout said. "He is very devoted to the Assassin Order as an ideal but, at the same time, he is not as impressed with the weight of the long mystical tradition and ancient rhetoric as some of the other Assassins. He likes to think for himself and make his own decisions. He isn't the type of person who will believe something just because someone tells it to him."

However, Stout claims Arno is an independent-thinker. Though he is loyal to his fellow Assassins, he doesn’t allow the Brotherhood to dictate his thoughts and actions.

"He has a habit of quoting the classics and tends to use humor to deflect when he is emotionally vulnerable, like a lot of people do I think," Stout told the DevBlog. "We very much wanted him to not be the sort of grizzled badass spouting one-liners that you see in a lot of action movies. We wanted him to feel like an actual person."

“Assassin’s Creed: Unity” will be released to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
