Ben Affleck crashed a "Superman" themed birthday party while visiting Detroit Kid City in Michigan.

The Detroit Free Press reports Affleck and his wife Jennifer Garner asked if their 2-year-old son Samuel could join a private party. The actor is currently in Michigan shooting "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" and his family tagged along.

The kids at the party were reportedly excited to meet Batman and Affleck's family had a great time. The place is like a mini town where kids can play including a pizza shop, school, music studio, barber shop and more, according to Detroit Kid City's official website.

Detroit Kid City's goal is to take kids away from their electronic and have them use their imagination in the set they've created.

"I spoke with Ben for 10 or 15 minutes and he was very pleased with the facility. He was very interested in getting a Detroit Kid City out in L.A.," Garrett Dixon of Detroit Kid City told Detroit Free Press. "He said they had a blast and will definitely be in contact with us."

Affleck may be spending a lot more time in Detroit after this year. The Latino Review reports the actor may be starring in a stand alone "Batman" film.

"The question is whether Affleck will direct the stand alone Batman film," Latino Review reports. "It is a good possibility since Affleck is now one of the studio's signature stars headlining as one of its signature characters whose last directorial effort Argo took home the best picture Oscar. Remember, Affleck's deal to play Batman took months for his agent at WME and attorney at Ziffren to close. Perhaps the contract contains a clause or a separate rider in his deal for directing services."

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released to theaters on May 6, 2016.
