Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has long been considered one of the fastest quarterbacks in the league since entering in 2001. Young, speedy quarterbacks are becoming more and more in vogue under center. Still, at 32-years-old, Vick believes he is the fastest quarterback on the field today.

Vick called in Friday to "The Dan Patrick Show" and, among other things, said no other quarterback is faster than him — including Washington Redskins' Robert Griffin III and San Francisco 49ers' Colin Kaepernick.

"These guys are young and they're fast and they're quick; the thing I do have is very quick get-up," Vick told Dan Patrick on Friday. "I really don't feel like there's a quarterback in the league who can beat me in a 40-yards dash. If somebody wants to set something up, I'll be more than glad to accept the challenge. But as of right now I'm going to say me. But Colin Kaepernick is fast and RG III is fast as well."

Vick is seemingly reassured of his speed after beating running back LeSean McCoy earlier this month in a 40-yard dash at practice. Vick also went on to say he has a lot of football left in him, his speed is still there and he's six-pounds heavier with muscle.

NFL Hall of Famer and current analyst Cris Carter weighed in on ESPN and chose Griffin as the fastest quarterback.
