Get ready for 20 seconds of pure terror. Over the weekend a teaser trailer for "American Horror Story: Freakshow" went viral that shows the saddest-looking Angel ever standing on a circus stage.

In the clip, feathery white angel wings open up to reveal a somber-looking blonde woman. As the camera pans upwards towards the woman's face, viewers see a man wearing a creepy mask standing behind her. The teaser ends by revealing that the creepy man is controlling the angel wings with a wooden lift. It also shows that the wings were brutally sewn onto the woman's back.

The trailer, titled "Fallen Angel," gave fans its first glimpse at the "Freak Show" but unfortunately the teaser was fan-made and not crafted by FX. We know, we were a little disappointed too but hopefully when the real trailer is released, it will leave fans just as - if not more - freaked out.

And we have to give it to the fan, the clip was really, really good. Creator Ryan Murphy has been pretty quiet about the Season 4 plot but we do that the story will focus on Jupiter, Fla. during the 1950s and will center around one of the last remaining freak shows in America.

The freak show will be run by Jessica Lange's character, which has been vaguely described as a German national. This is also Lange's last season on "American Horror Story." Also joining Lange this season are Michael Chiklis, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts, Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates.

Bates previously told Popsugar that she still doesn't know what character she will be playing at the freak show but did say that she knows what it looks like.

"I know what my character looks like, but I don't know anything else about her," Bates said. "In fact, I've just gone to costume fittings, and we're still developing the character. I haven't seen the script yet, and we start shooting in the middle of July, so time's a-waistin'!"

Murphy recently dished on Chiklis' character and told TV Line that he "is a strong man who is vulnerable." Reportedly, Chiklis will play the ex-husband of Bates' character, father of Evan Peter's character and is currently married to Bassett's character. That should be very interesting.

"He has scene with Angela and Jessica Lange and [onscreen ex] Kathy Bates. I love the part because it's really written to be quite vulnerable, which is something I think Michael does so well- the strong man who's vulnerable," Murphy said. "I'm very excited to see [him] tussle with all those great ladies. And he's really up for it, really excited about it."

The other characters said to be on Season 4 include conjoined twins Dot and Bette, played by Sarah Paulson; a bearded lady; a very, very tall man named Bobby; and Sammy who wears prosthetics.
