A bearded lady, conjoined twins and an extremely, extremely tall man named Bobby will all be part of the upcoming "Freak Show." Little by little, details are rolling in about the spooky characters set to be a part of Season 4 of "American Horror Story: Freak Show."

The plot has been a closely guarded secret but we do know that it will take place in Jupiter, Fla. during the 1950s and will focus on a freak show, one of the last in the country. The show will be led by Jessica Lange's character, who is vaguely described as a German national. (This will be Lange's last season on the FX horror show).

Joining Lange will be Michael Chiklis, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts and Sarah Paulson. According to International Business Times, Chiklis will play the ex-husband of Bates' character, father of Evan Peters' character and is said to be married to Angela Bassett's character.

Creator Ryan Murphy told TV Line that Chiklis' character "is a strong man who is vulnerable."

"He had scenes with Angela and Jessica Lange and [onscreen ex] Kathy Bates. I love the part because it's really written to be quite vulnerable, which is something I think Michael does so well - the strong man who's vulnerable," he said. "I'm very excited to see [him] tussle with all those great ladies. And he's really up for it, really excited about it."

Bassett wouldn't spill details on her character but told E! News that she knows she won't be playing the bearded lady. Murphy told Bassett that her character "is even better than that." The only clue the actress would provide is that producers asked her if she "was afraid of heights."

As far as Kathy Bates' character, she told Popsugar that she has no idea who she will be in Season 4 but revealed that she does know what her character looks like.

"I know what my character looks like, but I don't know anything else about her," Bates said. "In fact, I've just gone to costume fittings, and we're still developing the character. I haven't seen the script yet, and we start shooting in the middle of July, so time's a-wastin'!"

Sarah Paulson seems to be the only one who knows some specifics about her character. The actress previously tweeted that she will play conjoined twins Dot and Bette. Paulson also included a picture of what was believed to be a picture of the character but she later revealed that she tricked fans and they still have no idea what Dot and Bette look like.

E! digged up some more character scoop and revealed that the show is looking to fill a few new roles.

"Larry, an extremely, extremely tall man, described as a gentle giant, named Bobby, and Sammy, a role which will require prosthetics," the site wrote.

Season 4 of "American Horror Story" returns in October.
