Marvel's "Ant-Man" production is allegedly going through another round of script revisions.

Latino Review reports sources claim writers Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer have joined the production.  The writers are reportedly working on the script revised by Adam McKay.

Hiring new writers throughout productions is common and not necessarily a sign of production turmoil, according to Latino Review.  However, original "Ant-Man" director Edgar Wright cited creative differences for leaving the production.

What caused the rift between Marvel and Wright remains unknown, but actor Simon Pegg explained to Sky Movies, Pegg it was unfortunate the former director's script won't ever be seen.

"I think it's a terrible shame," Pegg said. "I get why perhaps it's happened. Maybe they want a particular thing in line with a particular other thing, but if you hire a director who has a particular vision, you've got to expect him or her to make a such and such film. An Edgar Wright film. That's what that script was and it was interesting. The characters had a real journey. I can't really say too much about it because obviously it's not my thing, but it's their loss."

The Latino Review originally reported their insiders claim the script was the source of problems on set with Marvel requesting rewrites behind Wright's back.

"Six weeks ago Marvel took the script off them and gave the writing assignment to two very low credit writers. One of the writers were from Marvel's in house writing team. Edgar stayed cool, agreed to stay on the project, and read the draft," according to The Latino Review.  "The script came in this week and was completely undone. Poorer, homogenized, and not Edgar's vision. Edgar met with Marvel on Friday to formally exit and the announcement went out directly after."

"Ant-Man" is set to hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
