It's time for Katy Perry to do some serious praying.

The New York Daily News reported Perry and her record label are being sued by a Christian rap group over her smash hit "Dark Horse". Christian hip-hop artist Flame and his producers are claiming that the 29-year-old singer stole her song from their 2008 award-winning gospel tune "Joyful Noise."

In a Missouri District Court on Tuesday a representative for the rapper and his group stated that the "anti-Christian witchcraft" and black magic imagery displayed in the "Dark Magic" video has "tarnished" the uplifting and religious message of "Joyful Noise"

The musicians are also claiming that Perry ruined their religious image in Christian music world because their music is now associated with witchcraft.

"By any measure, the devoutly religious message of 'Joyful Noise' has been irreparably tarnished by its association with the witchcraft, paganism, black magic, and Illuminati imagery evoked by the same music in 'Dark Horse'," the lawsuit stated, according to the Daily News.

The lawsuit was filed by musicians Marcus Gray, who is known as Flame, and Chike Ojukwu, along with rapper Lecrae Moore and Emanuel Lambert. Producers Dr. Luke and Cirkut, songwriters Max Martin and Sarah Theresa Hudson and rapper Juicy J are also named in the lawsuit.

The musicians are seeking undetermined damages and demanding that Perry stop using their music.

"Joyful Noise" appears on Flame's "Our World: Redeemed" album which was nominated for the Best Rock/Rap Gospel Album at the Grammys. "Dark Horse hit No. 1 on Billboard 200 following its release last year.

Do you think Perry ripped off Flame?
