George R.R. Martin teased more brutal deaths for the upcoming installment of the "As Song of Fire And Ice" saga, "Winds of Winter."

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Martin dished details about the latest installment, claiming there will be more bloodshed and drama in Westeros.

"I think we're gonna start out with a big smash with the two enormous battles," Martin said.  "...We have more deaths, and we have more betrayals. We have more marriages."

Martin also claimed Tyrion Lannister will finally meet with Daenerys Tagaryen, but didn't specify where the unlikely pair would come together.  However, their encounter could lead them back to their homeland of Westeros.

"Well, Tyrion and Dany will intersect, in a way, but for much of the book they're still apart," the author told EW. "They both have quite large roles to play here. Tyrion has decided that he actually would like to live, for one thing, which he wasn't entirely sure of during the last book, and he's now working toward that end-if he can survive the battle that's breaking out all around him. And Dany has embraced her heritage as a Targaryen and embraced the Targaryen words. So they're both coming home."

Martin has yet to confirm the release date of his sixth novel, but the HBO series based of the saga has amassed a giant fan base.  The upcoming fifth season of "Game of Thrones" will reportedly mark the return of actor Tom Wlaschiha.

Wlaschiha played the Faceless Man assassin known as Jaqen H'ghar.  H'ghar helped Arya Stark escape from Harrenhal, where she was unknowingly held captive by Tywin Lannister.

WinterIsComing.net reports Wlaschiha is set to begin filming his scenes in August.  However, it is unknown what role Wlaschiha's character will play in Arya's journey to Braavos.
