"Star Wars Episode 7" might be adding another A-list "Mission Impossible" actor to their all-star cast.

The Sun reports Tom Cruise recently met with J.J. Abrams in London to chat about appearing in the "Star Wars" franchise.  Abrams is currently in London at the Pinewood Studios where "Star Wars Episode 7" production is taking place.

"Tom [Cruise] has been in London for over a week and met up with JJ [Abrams] and some other people with the production over the weekend," a source told The Sun.  "On Saturday evening, five of them met up for dinner and drinks at the Belgravia Hotel. JJ produced "Mission Impossible 5" and loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance."

It is unclear how large of a cameo Cruise could possibly have in the "Star Wars" film, but the production hasn't confirmed any casting news since announcing the addition of Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie.

The Sun's insider claimed Harrison Ford's recent injury has caused the production to shift their schedules and there is "some time to play around with."

Ford, 71, broke his leg while on set in Pinewood Studios on June 12 when a door fell on top of it.  The hydraulic door was reportedly attached to the Millennium Falcon, but the production has yet to officially confirm that the vehicle is in the film.

Ford's publicist, Ina Treciokas, confirmed the actor needed surgery on his left leg after the accident on set, BBC reports.

"[Ford's] surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly," Treciokas said in a statement.  "He's doing well and looks forward to returning to work."

"Star Wars Episode 7" will be released to theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
