Warner Bros. may have big plans for San Diego Comic Con in July as new rumors have surfaced claiming fans will get to see a clip of "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" during the convention.

The production is rumored to make an appearance in Hall H, the place major announcements usually take place at the convention, according to Latino Review reporter Umberto Gonzalez, also known as El Mayimbe.

However, the "Batman vs. Superman" film is currently in production, which could mean it's too soon for fans to see a video teaser. Director Zack Snyder has already unveiled a photo of Ben Affleck posing in his new Batsuit next to the revamped Batmobile, but he has yet to release images of Gal Gadot in her Wonder Woman armor.

Speaking of Affleck, the Latino Review also reports the new Caped Crusader could be directing and starring in a standalone Batman film.

"The question is whether Affleck will direct the stand alone Batman film," Latino Review reports. "It is a good possibility since Affleck is now one of the studio's signature stars headlining as one of its signature characters whose last directorial effort, 'Argo,' took home the best picture Oscar. Remember, Affleck's deal to play Batman took months for his agent at WME and attorney at Ziffren to close. Perhaps the contract contains a clause or a separate rider in his deal for directing services."

The rumored working title for the standalone film is "The Batman," and is slated to hit theaters some time in 2019. Along with a potential Batman movie, Warner Bros. is rumored to be unveiling their DC lineup up until 2018, including a Wonder Woman solo flick, a Sandman movie and the much talked about Justice League film.

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" will be released on May 6, 2016.
