Voice actor Troy Baker, best known for voicing "The Last of Us" main character Joel, speaks out against the controversy regarding "Far Cry 4's" box art.

Baker voices the new "Far Cry" villain Pagan Min, who appears sitting on a throne while resting his hand on a dark-skinned soldier on the game's box art. Baker explained to IGN the "Far Cry" franchise has explored ideas imperialism and racism in their games for a while, and Pagan is a maniac.

"Imperialism and racism and everything has been a big thing in Far Cry 2 and Far Cry 3 especially, so it's not about race. At all," Baker told IGN. "As the story develops and people find out more they'll see it plays no part in it at all. There's just the fact that this guy is clearly ruling this country and of course with Far Cry... anyway, there's a lot to talk about with Far Cry. I think this'll be the coolest Far Cry game there's ever been. I loved Vaas, I thought that was a great character, Far Cry 3, but Far Cry 4 is just mind-blowing."

According to Ubisoft' official blog, "Far Cry 4" is set in Kyrat, "an untamed region currently ruled by a despotic self-appointed king." Players will be able to "craft their own stories" throughout the open world gameplay. Dan Hay, "Far Cry 4" executive producer, told the blog the tile will be one of the best first-person shooters this year.

"Following the success of Far Cry 3, we wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise players and exceed fans' expectations," Hays told Ubisoft. "Given the unique setting, we feel Far Cry 4 will stand out as a top first-person shooter and we're eager to reveal more about the game in the coming months."

"Far Cry 4" will be released to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox and Windows PC on Nov. 18.
