Maksim Chmerkovskiy has the Internet buzzing about his romance with Kate Upton after he posted (and quickly deleted) a photo of the bikini model. According to the New York Post's Page Six, the Season 18 winner of "Dancing With the Stars" uploaded a picture on June 1 of himself with Upton but quickly took the picture down.

In the photo, the 21-year-old was seen smiling with her arm around Chmerkovskiy. According to Page Six, the picture was from a recent outing at Tao restaurant in New York City. The reunion comes after Upton and Chmerkovskiy broke up in December after six months of dating.  

At the time, a source told the newspaper that the two split due to their hectic schedules.

"They never saw each other," the source said.

Chmerkovskiy recently won the ABC dancing show with his partner Meryl Davis. There were rumors that the two were dating. In a report by Life & Style magazine, a source on the set of the show said the pro dancer and the Olympic ice skater were spotted kissing backstage. 

"It's even more intense [off screen]," a source said. "There were no cameras on them, but Maks was spotted kissing her and hugging her. They seem super close, and it is definitely not just for the cameras.   Everyone on set noticed their chemistry."

"They only talk with each other at the show and are really touchy and flirty," the source added. "He is always talking about her great body and has his hands all over her, even when the cameras are off."

Even though everyone was convinced there was something romantic between Davis and her dancing partner, Chmerkovskiy's ex-fiancée Karina Smirnoff (who is also a pro on "Dancing With the Stars") told US Weekly that it was "great acting."

"When you're on the dance floor... you want to create that story, you want to create something where people believe that what you demonstrated was real," she said. "And [Maks and Meryl] were able to do that."
